Help is always there.

Help is always there if you want to succeed in life.

The irony of life is that everyone in his/her right senses wants to succeed and be great but cannot start pursuing their dreams because there are scared of starting alone. Many people think there is no help at all and this is the gospel truth which they have held dear.

Now, I once heard somewhere that, “we don’t see the world as it is but we see it as we are.” This truth manifests itself through life every day, where some see opportunities others see difficulties – in the same world.

One day I learnt something which transformed my entire life. My uncle has an old diesel machine Pajero car. This car needs to be pushed to start so one day I was set to push it with a friend but when he came, I started hesitating to push it because we were only the two of us. He smiled and told me something which I found life renovating. He said, “let us just start pushing and we will call for help along the way.” We started pushing and just outside the gate, we found two guys, we asked them to help us and they gladly offered to help. We pushed the car until it started after that we thanked them and they left.

The lesson I learnt there is that, when you are doing something, there will always be people to help you. This does not however mean that everyone will help you but someone will definitely help you. When we were pushing the car, other people were just passing by and we asked some of them to help but they refused and said things like, “it will not start, you are just wasting your time” but the people who we were with would say, “just leave those guys, they will discourage us.” Some of the people who refused to help looked much free than those who gave us ‘hands.’

In life there is always someone who is just waiting for you to start and they will help. Many of us end up giving up on our dreams because we are scared to do it alone. You can never accomplish any big dream alone, you will need help from other people but you can start alone. The world is much kinder than we think it is. Remember, not everyone will help you but certainly someone will be there to help you – Someone.  

Do not be discouraged by those who just pass by and watch, don’t even hold any grudge against them. There is always help for anyone who has started working on his dream. For JESUS CHRIST it was only 12 people who ran with him as disciples but yet when He started, he fasted for 40 days and 40 nights in the desert alone.

I dare you to start working on your dreams and don’t lose the enthusiasm, keep moving and keep journeying, help will meet up with you later. Start now as soon as you get the idea, don’t wait until you can get all the help you need. Just start because there are steps or stages in life where you need to walk alone. Walk with excitement in those stages but when you reach at the stage where you cannot manage, the appropriate help will come.
