Push and Pull factors

You cannot afford to be comfortable with being an average person. You are more than you think. There is so much in you and you are so much valuable to this world that GOD had to keep you alive up to now. Don’t be shy of being successful. Great nations are made up of people who are not ashamed of success.
The time when I was in high school, I used to feel bad when someone got higher marks while for me I got low marks every time. It took time for me to improve because I thought it was wrong to feel like that. One day it troubled me so much that I started asking myself why I was not getting results which I loved, results which I would gladly show to everyone. Refuse to be comfortable with low marks, refuse to be comfortable being someone who just gets average. You can be more than you are now only if you decide to be uncomfortable with poverty. Some of you especially those at high school, college or university, you might be happy and comfortable getting 50%, 51%, comforting yourself that at least it is above 40%. Really? Is that all you can become, 50%? You can only get marks higher than 50% if you start being uncomfortable with 50%.
Don’t raise an apology for doing what you believe is right.
Decide to be uncomfortable with average, if you cannot be pushed by conditions around you, at least be attracted or inspired by the excitement of those who have discovered their purposes in life. If you think there is no more to what you can become than what you are now, if you think this is all you can become then this is a wrong article for you because you have already arrived. But to those of who believe there is more to what you can become, I believe with you because even myself this is not all I can become, I am still discovering more and more. Do not be limited by the standards of this world.

The Umwana Foundation 2020 strategy

“Encouraging entrepreneurship is particularly important to face challenges, related to alarming high youth unemployment rates in most African Countries. Entrepreneurship and self-employment offer pathways for young people to emerge from unemployment. In this context special attention is paid to the social entrepreneurship model which is embedded in the real economy close to the people and local communities primarily aimed at contributing to the general good of society.’’ Umwana foundation.

Entrepreneurship is the birth of self relience and practical leadership. When a country or a continent has a lot of people who are innovative, people are practising entrepreneurship, then it is empowered. Nhlanhla once told to me, “We don’t just have to think outside the box but let us put the box away.’’ This statement resounded the spirit of entrepreneurship to me. Entrepreneurship has no limit as to what one can achieve, it has got no prescription on where to start from. You can start from anywhere, as a matter of fact, other people call entrepreneurship CREATIVE DESTRUCTION.  Knowing the art of entrepreneurship now sets you at an advantageous pace because you will not need to depend on the system for your country to make it big in life.
As an entrepreneur, every opportunity is an an opportunity and every problem is an opportunity as well.  Now is the time to be creative. Now is the time to make the positive change we yearn. Don’t wait for tomorrow because tomorrow is not waiting for you, you have the present to live in. Live fully  in the present and make change which will modify the the face of this world. Nhlanhla once again echoed these words to me one day, “Read today and lead today, a reader today a leader today.’’ Don’t wait until they tell you that you are now ready to lead. Be creative, read and lead today.
Let the child be. Let the child think creatively and contribute to the advancement of this world starting when he is still young.
The Umwana foundation has set a precedent for the next generations. Entrepreneurship is the way to go.
You have a lot of ideas within yourself and Umwana wants you to explore them and bring them out.  This is the best thing that can ever happen to you, exploring the field of your mind and knowing that you are more than what this world wants you to believe. You are fully loaded with ideas.

The Paradox Of Opportunity

Opportunity is when preparation meets demand. This has been a misconceived concept by many people on a large basis. This is because people think that opportunities just happen but in essence, they do not just happen but rather they are created by the demand. Therefore, if there is one who is prepared for that demand, then we can say there is an opportunity for that individual. The point to be noted here is not in the opportunity itself but the preparation which has been made for its demand. The preparation for the future, creates the opportunity for it. For instance there can be a demand for accounting in a bank, a Lawyer cannot be called for it, rather an accountant will get that opportunity because that has been his/her preparation for that particular need over time. It is a sad development to hear some folks complain that government is not working in setting up opportunities, meanwhile, there are a lot of demands all over which are seeking for people’s preparations.

Moreover, what can be an opportunity for one cannot be an opportunity for the other; rather each one prepares his/her chances regarding to what demands he/she is able to foresee. This is a blessing on its own. A blessing is not in looking at things but rather it is in discerning what is going to come ahead in life and this is what vision is.
Nevertheless, do not wait for opportunities to happen but make them happen by preparing yourself for what you perceive can be the demand in the next years to come because we do not just become. For occurrence, if you want to become a politician you prepare for it. Even when the demand for a Member of Parliament in a certain area arises, definitely you will get that opportunity because that has been the preparation. The main point is in preparation for the future. You can only attract what you have been preparing for.
Furthermore, the principle of a magnet is in attracting what is of its kind. The main point here is when you prepare for the future and the demand for it arises, there can be no corruption which can hinder its acquisition. Many times we spend most of our times blaming people and our backgrounds that we come to wish to be born in a better family, forgetting that better backgrounds do not represent opportunities. Demands happen to everyone, whether rich or poor. The bible puts it clear that time and chance happen to all. Time does not just move but its movement represents and draws one closer to the demand of something. Wisdom comes when one descends the demand and prepares for it.
Therefore, wisdom in one discerning the demand and preparing for it. The bible says that when a diligent man sees trouble, he hides himself. The focus is not in the trouble but in the acquisition of safety of that man. Transformation of society is yet to be seen but how much have we prepared for it? When that demand comes, how are we going to incorporate ourselves with it? Even if you have a lot of money, if you do not plan for it, you will always be lacking.
Felix Banda otherwise known ‘Galamukani’ says, ‘We Do Not Just Become.’ This means that before we become there are certain things to put in place. That is preparation.
Prepare for your life and be ready for the demand of what you have invested in yourself with. If you invest a lot in yourself, you will have a lot of things calling on you. Prepare yourself and see you at the top.

DREAMS COME TRUE

DREAMS COME TRUE!!!
"A dream is a goal which has been given a deadline". Napoleon Hill.
According to what I have discovered, there are two types of dreams; those which we are conditioned to dream because of the environment around us and those we dream out of the positive yearnings of our true self.
Whichever it may be, conditioned or not, it will come true.
Everyone dreams whether knowingly or unknowingly. Whatever it is that you dream, it will come to pass, that includes bad dreams or no dream at all. They do come true. If you dream nothing, nothing will come to reality and likewise when you dream something, the very thing will be manifested.
There are those people who say whenever something bad happens, 'I knew it would fail', I totally agree with them because that is what they have been dreaming about. Equally I don't call it boasting for those who say when something good has happened,' I knew it was going to work out', that is what they have been dreaming about.
Dream big! You can avoid negative dreams by dreaming on purpose. Dream on purpose because your life cannot be left alone to be defined by the environment around you. Dream positive dreams, dreams which will transform the world positively.
Don't dream the opposite of what you want to see, for whatever you dream, it will come to pass.
DREAMS COME TRUE
