Don't Be Killed

As long as you die before you fulfill your dreams, then you have just been killed.

You were born to achieve something great in this world, your life is worth saving and sparing. If at all for any reason you die before you fulfill your purpose, then you have robbed the world. Let me set the records straight here, the world doesn’t owe you anything, you are the one who owes the world your potential. The longer you stay without realizing your potential the more you steal from those who have realized their potential (Those who have contributed what you are enjoying right now.

Your death should only mark completion of your purpose on earth. In fact, you should\can only die after you have done what you were created to do. JESUS was not killed, He died. You need to understand that to die is gain not to be killed. Your creator, GOD, does not take pleasure in you dying before your potential has been realized. You were created\born with the capabilities to accomplish your purpose in life. The realization of your potential is what the world is eagerly waiting for. My advice to you is that, don’t disappoint us.

You should understand with me that GOD made the heavens, the earth, plants, waters and animals which include you and me so to say. He created not only the natural living things but also the non-living things.  GOD did not make vehicles, aeroplanes, Facebook, Google or whatsapp; these inventions were made by mere human being who refused to be killed. I don’t think all these people who have achieved these things knew from birth that there were supposed to make all these inventions, they had to wake up and realize their potential and thought about how  good they could advance the world.

Never at any point think that everything has already been made or inverted. The irony of life is that in the sky, the atmosphere allows the mosquitoes and the flies to spread their wings and fly freely without interruptions. Your potential is still intact no matter how many things people make or invert. Even when there was already Ford, Mercedes Benz had to be manifested, Toyota had to be born. This is to show you that you cannot exhaust what can be achieved by an individual. We need your potential.

Life is lived in words

Life is lived in words.

You likely know fundamentally that specific words matter. You click on a headline because a single word strikes you. You click a signup button because a word creates an emotion. The research behind this power of words is incredibly deep. Researchers have found that the word you use to describe a car accident (“contacted” vs. “smashed”) paints the way eyewitnesses view the event. Another study found that simple stock names that are easier to pronounce lead to quicker gain post. There is a study which was shared by Brian Clark of Copy blogger. Social psychologist Ellen Langer tested the power of a single word in an experiment where she asked to cut in line at a copy machine. She tried three different ways of asking:

“Excuse me, I have five pages. May I use the Xerox machine?” – 60% said OK

“Excuse me, I have five pages. May I use the Xerox machine because I’m in a rush?” – 94% said OK

“Excuse me, I have five pages. May I use the Xerox machine because I have to make some copies?” – 93% said OK

I don’t know about you, but I thought Langer’s third request was rather plain. Yet it didn’t matter. The trigger word “because” was all she needed. The takeaway: When you want people to take action, always give a reason.

Believe this truth that things are influenced by words spoken.

 Words echo reality in their utterance, this means that words give reality according to what you have uttered. If you say positive and good things about yourself that is what will be the reality and if you speak negatively about yourself, that is what will also be reality. You cannot be what you have not thought and spoken. Words define people. It is very easy to notice that people who have been saying continuously that they will be successful in life have been finally defined as such and so they are, successful. You cannot be caught unaware. When you are successful it means that you have been thinking about it and you have also been talking about it. Words have a force to cause things into being whether negative or positive, this means you cannot avoid it. Whatever you say is as important as the actual thing. Life is run and lived in words, someone once told me that a closed mouth is a closed destiny. Words are life medicine to a body, this world already has its negative things which it offers. For you to get the good things out of this life you have to say words. Look at this scripture then you will understand how powerful words are;

GENESIS 1:2-3, “And the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” Things came into being by words, there might be darkness in this world but that does not mean there is no light, you have to call it out; what do you want to see into reality? Then say it and it shall be. Apart from the creation of man, all other creation was done in words so therefore you cannot be careless about words. You can be whatever you say, you can have whatever thing you say. Things respond to words.

Grow towards Your Destiny

Life is a demonstration in play around us. Lessons can be learnt from everything around humanity and even beyond. You must know what you want, follow it and know your place. It is true that you were born to do great things but remember that you were not born to do everything in this life.

Before we can talk about motivation from other people, we can always look around and learn motivating stories and change our lives. Motivation is all over. There are indications everywhere pointing to you on how you need to learn from everything around us.

One day I visited my grandmother in the village, she was excited to see me because she knew that the next day I was going to help her plant maize in the field. She had soaked maize the day before I came so when she was welcoming me, in her heart was the excitement that we would finish planting the maize the next day. When we went to plant the maize in the morning, some maize had actually germinated. I asked, “How can we plant seeds which have already germinated, wont the newly germinated seed be suffocated in the soil?” her answer was, “They will not be suffocated, they will turn to follow the light even if  we plant them outside down.”

This response shocked me, I had totally forgotten to remember that it was a principle my biology teacher labored to help us understand, the principle of Phototropism and Geotropism.

Geotropism is a disposition to turn or incline towards the earth; the influence of gravity in determining the direction of growth of an organ. Geotropism can also be defined as an orienting response to gravity. Phototropism is an orienting response to light. From these two words, I was enlightened to understand that the seed doesn’t worry which direction you plant it because the roots always know that they follow gravity meaning they go downwards and the stems will at all times follow light meaning they will go upwards.

You cannot blame the world, you can’t blame your government, follow your niche, and you are created for greatness with or without the government, without or without a good background and with or without money to start with, meaning you don’t need money to always make it in life, sometimes people who you didn’t even know will sponsor your dream. Your place is success. Fight for your light like the stem while holding tight to the ground like the roots.

The roots are always positive geotropic and the stems alike are always positive phototropic. Life will not always give you what you want, you have to go out there and get what you want. Follow your destiny, pursue your purpose, your true self but before you do that, know what you were born to be.
